Happy Wednesday! With the holiday weekend, it felt like I was so far behind on everything in life. When I started this blog, my intention was to blog daily. But then I was feeling some self-doubt...wondering if anyone reads this, or if I'm good enough to be doing this. Do you ever feel that way? I hate those feelings, but they creep in for all of us sometimes!
I spent most of the holiday weekend trying to declutter and tidy things up around my house. With the holidays approaching, it's not something I want to leave until the last minute. Have you ever sold on Vinted? I started and it's great! Takes only a minute to upload your items, it uses AI to answer most of the questions, and the buyer always pays shipping so you only have to print the label they send you and mail stuff out. Speaking of labels, I found myself printing so many that I picked up this easy label printer and it's incredible! I'm going to use it to print out other things too! It's black and white, but it's so fast (I can't even describe how fast and easy it is to use).

And then because I needed some shipping supplies, I ordered these cute floral shipping bags. Cheaper than getting them one at a time at an office supply store, and they work great. I recommend getting the larger size and then for smaller items you can just fold it over onto itself a few times. They are self-stick too. I got the floral pattern and they're so cute!
Lately I've found myself switching between SO MANY BAGS....bag for work, bag for my son's sports, bag for the weekend, etc and I will be honest, I would be a one purse kind of person if I could. I feel like I'm wasting hours of my life switching my purses. So that got me thinking that I feel like I need an old-school wristlet (where are my millenial mom friends at who used to carry a good-old Coach wristlet around everywhere? LOL). I want something smaller that I can throw into a crossbody on the weekends, but big enough that it can also fit a few motrin (why do I get a headache at the worst time?), a bandaid, or a few small things. I tried the lululemon belt bag but I don't love how that looks on my body (especially post mastectomy). I picked up these two and they arrive tomorrow...I will let you know how it turns out! If you have any recommendations, let me know. I tried the Andar denner wallet, but I need something with a small zip compartment for the few things that I always want to keep on me and move bag to bag.

I also grabbed
this green one, though I think it may be too big. I really want to be able to slide it into my MZ Wallace crossbody when I need to!

I bought these leopard print shoes and they are AMAZING. I really wanted Rothys, but I couldn't justify the money. These are $37.99 and they are so comfortable. They even have arch support, which is rare in the cheaper shoes. Love them! I want to order more colors, they're perfect for work. I mostly wear jeans to work but like to have a fun shoe to dress things up a bit and these check all the boxes. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfectly.
Not sure about in other parts of the country, but here in New England it's definitely germ season. I ordered some of this Sniffle Stopper essential oil and I put a few drops in the compartment on the humidifiers each night. I do think it helps!
Speaking of humidifiers, these Dreo humidifiers are the absolute BEST in my opinion because you can pour the water into the top without having to take them apart. Every other brand we've had spills water all over while I'm trying to fill them (and such a pain to fill in the sink). I keep a gallon of distilled water in each bedroom and fill them up at night.
While cleaning this weekend, I emptied out my sock drawer, donated a bunch and tossed the mis-matched ones. That left me with very few socks! Not sure how that happens. In the fall I tend to wear a lot of slip on shoes for work, but at night or the weekends nothing beats my Birkenstock Bostons. I needed a good cozy sock for them, and these fit the bill!
That's all I have for today! Would love to hear what your favorite Amazon purchases are....share in the comments :)

I still have a Coach wristlet, I keep it in my purse. I only have a few purses and I almost never change them out. Purses annoy me and I usually find myself leaving mine in the car covered with a blanket because I don’t want to fool with it while out and about. I only take it with me in the first place out of habit.
ReplyDeleteMy “major” Amazon buy lately was Kind protein bars for my husband. Not very exciting, but the price during the last Prime days was super cheap compared to the grocery store price, so I stocked him up. Definitely not very exciting.
Btw, I saved your blog to my favorites and I check to see if you’ve posted every time I sit down to read my favorite ones. Keep writing! :)
Thank you so much :) I agree with you about purses being annoying, which is why I'm wondering why I spend so much of my time moving things all around. Life won't end if I don't have 3 lip glosses and multiple bandaids on me at any time! LOL
DeleteYour protein bar purchase makes sense...I need to get better about tracking prices for items like that. My son eats a lot of granola bars during gymnastics practice and they're so pricey!
